Description of 1952 Chevrolet Other |
1952 Chevy 3100 Pickup Truck, Restomod,327 V8, Auto, Vintage Air, PDB, PS. I purchased this truck last year from a longtime friend who bought it in 1987, he drove it with the 6-cyl engine, and stock drivetrain/suspension for several years while finishing his Degree in Automotive Technology. He began the build several years later starting with the suspension modifications, he rebuilt the 327 engine, and had it painted. The goal was to keep the classic look of the Advance Design with the modern conveniences of a newer vehicle, since that time its logged around 12K miles, and still performs like the day it was built. This is a multiple Show winner, including a recent people’s choice award at a local show. I drove it over 800 miles this summer including a trip to Goodguys in Des Moines, and a portion of the Power Tour, had cold A/C the entire time, the truck performed flawlessly, even in 100-degree heat. Out of thousands of cars on the 2016 Hot Rod Power Tour, this truck is in the top 10 on the Johnny Lightning Die-Cast Choice award, and may have a model built of the truck. How many people have a model built that’s based on their vehicle? 327-V8, Vintage Air & heat (works great), 700R4 Auto-Overdrive trans, rack and pinion steering, 73 Camaro rear end, “c-notch” frame, tilt, power brakes – disc front, power steering, Tubular A-Arms,tinted glass, led tail lights, Classic Instruments gauges, electric wipers, Painless Wiring, Retro Sound radio, American Racing Torque Thrust Wheels (2000 miles on wheels and tires), Optima battery. Older restoration, finished around 2003, always garaged, and still very presentable, and very reliable. Painted using Sikkens #297 Bright Yellow, base coat/clear coat. The Body is original GM steel, the glass and seals have been replaced, and the windows operate as they should, new chrome grill. Clean Kansas title. Hate to sell, but I’ve found a car I’ve wanted for years, and need the garage space. I have a notarized professional appraisal that was done earlier this year, with the value listed as $34,000, my reserve is considerably lower than the appraisal. Many receipts go with the truck, along with part numbers and vendors of the various components. A $500 Non-Refundable deposit is due and payable via PayPal within 24 hours after the auction ends. This vehicle is being sold as is, with no warranty, expressed written or implied. I reserve the right to end this listing at any time, should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 7 days of the close of the auction (cash or bank transfer). All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. Shipping is buyer’s responsibility. Please feel free to ask any questions. Inspection is available. |
