1937 Chevrolet Master 1 1/2 Stakebed. This truck was purchased new in 1937 in this configuration. It is a miracle this truck has survived in this condition. Norustthrough and has very cool surface patina, was a work truck so it has scratch wear etc..It was used by a Roofer/ House painter only in close vicinity to his home. I was told it never stayed out overnight and over wintered in the shop .I purchased it in the spot it was parked in 197, with a cracked block. it froze after water was added and not anti-freeze. He replaced truck with a new one but keep this one in the corner. I replaced the 216 with a Low mileage rebuilt late model full oil 235. I painfully keep everything as original as possible. Recored radiator, new clutch and engine mounts, waterpump with adapter. I replaced all wheel cylinders and master cylinder. Nice drums and shoes. Really runs out good and drives nice. Still needs some electrical wiring replaced for lights etc, insulation is brittle. It has four new Mohawk period correct recaps tires(not mounted) for rear. Nice set for front. Several spare wheels included. May help deliver. A bit slow to drive on modern interstate.12 miles south of Canton Ohio Clear Ohio title in my name. No reserve afterfirst bid.Another great Movie Prop or museum piece, Parade and truck show ready. Find another one.
