MUST SELL! NO RESERVE! If you have been searching for a true and ALL ORIGINAL 1971 Chevelle Convertible that is completely original and a perfect everyday driver, please pay careful attention to the details of this eBayNo ReserveOnce in a LifetimeEvent. These cars are getting harder and harder to find everyday! The Chevrolet Chevelle is a mid-sized automobile which was produced by Chevrolet in three generations for the 1964 through 1977 model years. Part of the General Motors (GM) A-Body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates. This car retains nearly everything it had the day it left the dealership. It even has the original bumper sticker/decal from the Pittsfield, Massachusetts dealer it was purchased from! This Chevelle has had two owners in its lifetime and was kept as a family weekend cruiser. It was very well taken care of and never abused! This car has never been in an accident from what we understand. It is getting very difficult to find cars like this one that are unmolested making it a highly desirable and investment quality piece of history! This Chevelle was the second owner's very first car purchased back in 1981. It was owned by a school teacher from Pittsfield, MA, who purchased it brand new in 1971, and took very good care of it. After she purchased it, it was garage kept and preserved immaculately. She drove it to school her senior year of high school, throughout college, and quite sometime after that. Once she moved onto a smaller car, her father took it over and it became his 'Sunday afternoon pleasure car'. The car was repainted in the 80's (still keeping its original color) and the top and upholstery was replaced. He almost waxed the paint right off of it! When her father passed away, they downsized considerably which is why they wanted to sell the car. It has been in the family for 35 years and was enjoyed immensely by its owners. However, there is no reason why anyone else couldn't enjoy it for another 35 years so don't miss out, bid now before it's too late! This 1971 Chevelle Malibu Convertible is one of the most genuine cars Class-1 Classics has come across. For starters (no pun intended), this car features a completely ORIGINAL & NUMBERS MATCHING drivetrain as well as a very clean and original body. It starts right up, runs smooth, and drives wonderfully especially with its factory power steering! This car is the PERFECT top down Sunday driver! This Chevelle was just fully detailed from the interior to the body, to the engine bay! No cheap detail was used here! We polish all of the chrome, clean the seats, dash, and carpeting with shampoo and cleaner-protectant. The exterior undergoes a full multi-stage wax, buff, and compound to bring out the true shine on this beauty all while still retaining it's original patina! Please scroll down to see more photos and the video!! ALL ORIGINAL Chevy Small Block 307 cu. in. motor with the ORIGINAL heads, ORIGINAL GM Intake Manifold, and ORIGINAL Rochester Two-Barrel Carburetor topped off even with the original GM Air Cleaner!! As you can see in the pictures below, this Chevelle even has the original inner fenders with the 'GM of Canada' markings! Also added was a brand new voltage regulator to keep the electrical system running reliably. This Chevelle is equipped with rare POWER STEERING from the factory! Engine VIN Stamp: 1 1 B 1 9 2 3 8 6 Engine Suffix Code: T 0 3 3 0 C C C ALL ORIGINALGM Turbo Hydramatic 350 Automatic Transmission Transmission VIN Stamp: 1 1 B 1 9 2 3 8 6 Rear End Casting Number: 3 9 6 9 2 7 7 N F BRAND NEW Correct Ribbed Hoses (Original stamped fender wells)
This Chevelle has a fully functioning interior which is hard to find in these vintage cars! With such a nostalgic feel to this interior, one can only think they were sent back in time to 1971! This car is a true time machine!Everything was very well preserved and taken care of!
In summary, this 1971 Chevelle Malibu is as original as it gets. It was very well taken care of, never abused, but driven and serviced as GM intended for! The GM engineers created a car that they knew with the proper care, would last a lifetime! This car proves it all the way! It handles very tight, drives smooth, and is the perfect driver for anyone looking to cruise to work, school, or perhaps car shows! Although this car is very clean and drivable,it is 45 years old.The underbody does show rust as any fully original east coast car would. Despite how beautifully this paint shines, it is over 25 years old and does show age in certain areas but nonetheless perfect for a daily driver! Otherwise, this car is as good as it gets so sit back, relax, and drive on!
