You are bidding on a 1948 Chevrolet Thriftmaster 3100. It is an older restoration that belonged to a local winery. The gentleman that it belonged to bought it new and had it re-done several years ago and since has passed away. We purchased it from his son and now it's time for it to move on. We installed a new 2 barrel weber carburetor with an aluminum air cleaner, a vintage valve cover for the 216 in line six. A 12volt conversion was done and a set of new Coker Classic white wall radials in which improves the ride! It has the original 1947 California commercial license plates with the correct 1948 tags (about a $1,000.00 value) The truck runs a drives great and everything works. It hasn't been butchered up and clean ones are getting harder to find! The motor and transmission had been rebuilt when they did the restoration. Transmission is a three speed on the column. There are two minor flaws in the paint job as seen in the pictures 1. small dent on passengers door 2. three small scratches on drivers front fenderThese areas can be repaired fairly easy, the paint is a single stage, the owner wants to let it go the way it is.Serious inquiries only, no trades and no low ballers! This truck will be sold as is.Good luck biddingAny questions please contact:Sonoma County Street Rodz707-781-1955
