Description of 1981 Chevrolet Malibu |
Looking to sell my wife's Malibu Wagon. We bought it a few years back and put a good amount of work into it, but we recently welcomed a new addition to the family and have a few other projects ahead of this one. This wagon is originally from California and has a very clean, rust free body. The interior is in good shape. This car is mechanically sound and a great cruiser. We have an original radio to go in the dash, the headliner material to be put up, and it's missing a few of the bumper filler pieces. This wagon has a few loose ends, but it's a lot of fun to drive and has some pretty cool power rear vent windows. I was driving this car to work (30 miles one way) until the registration and inspection ran out. She'll have no problem passing a safety inspection. We have this for sale locally, so the auction may end at any time. 75k original miles 700r4 trans Worked and fresh 305ci, flat top pistons and decent cam, HO heads with 1.94 intakes, cleaned up runners, and pinned studs- I'm pretty sure springs too Edelbrock performer intake and 500 cfm performer carb w/ electric choke Long tube headers with duals and an h pipe New 3.73 gears and bearings Rear tires are mastercraft avengers with great tread, fronts are in good shape too. Entire brake system has been rebuilt Electric fan on a thermal switch and relay w/ adjustable on/off settings New hub caps and beauty rings Factory air (needs to be charged) New water pump New alternator New universal joints New fuel sending unit Paint is satin black but is a top coat /primer so it can be sanded and resprayed if desired Man. The more I write, the more I want to keep this thing. If you have any questions, please give me a shout. |
