Description of 1933 Chevrolet Other |
Approximately $75k spent on build including $30k in the engine before I bought it in Arizona in 2013 and spent $10k on wheels, tires, radiator and refurbished drivetrain. This car is scary fast and will be a great toy for the Chevy guy that doesn't want the deuce Ford Tudor or 1932 Sedan or Roadster that everybody else has. The guy I bought it from had a collection of about 15 cars with $150k+ restorations or hot rod treatments on them, and was selling them all to spend time with grandkids. This was his only unfinished project, which he had stopped work on during the pre-paint shakedown. Clean Indiana title. Original and solid 1933 steel body from Kansas including grill shell; shaved and chopped w/ new floors, steel roof, suicide doors with power windows and locks, etc., 95% prepped and primered for paint (no glass) Original manufacturer VIN tag and Fisher body tag Chevrolet 427 with Blower Shop 6-71 supercharger, Sanderson headers and sidepipes, dual Holley 4-bbl carburetors and electric fuel pump, MSD ignition, domed pistons, etc. TH400 Automatic transmission with Lokar shifter (tall or short shift column) All new hoses, belts, fluids in engine & transmission New Edelbrock aluminum water pump, Optima red top battery Custom chassis frame with Heidts front suspension and ladder bar rear Custom seat frames with split bench front and bench rear (not upholstered) Billet aluminum steering wheel on ididit column VDO gauges Wilwood front disc brakes, SSBC rear disc brakes Adjustable gas shocks New Wheel Vintiques artillery wheels (powdercoated); 15x12 rear and 15x6 front New 1948-1953 Chevy hubcaps New MT Mickey Thompson radial tires; 29x15R15 rear, 26x15R15 front Stainless steel gas tank New custom aluminum radiator from C&R Racing in Indy Most accessory pieces are billet aluminum or chrome Extra parts included: set of older front and back aluminum wheels Audi leather sport bucket front seats and rear seat Wilwood rear disc brakes (too large for these wheels) Vintage Air air conditioning compressor, vents, controls, and all necessary parts Complete Ron Francis wiring harness Many other parts |
