Description of 1964 Chevrolet C-10

1964 Chevy C10 that I purchased for my Dad's 82nd Birthday is now for sale. It is listed "as is" with no warranty. Not because I know of anything that is wrong with it except what I list below, but because let's face it, it was made in 1964! He is now unable to drive and I don't want it to drive. My "toy" is a 2013 Jeep that was customized pink!
We have had the following done to it since purchased:
seatbelts added
gas tank relocated from behind seat to under bed
radio and premium speakers added
sunvisors
inside door handles
outside door locks
battery shutoff switch
carburetor has been reworked
As you can see, mostly cosmetic things have been done!
Now for what I call cosmetic things that need to be done:
The red paint is not what I call perfect, in other words, it's not show quality!
The wooden bed needs some tender loving care with some sanding, staining and clearcoat.
All glass is in great shape, no chips or cracks!
Now for the issues that I know about:
Somehow we keep getting water in the gas tank, I think it's the filler but we haven't had it fixed. I did purchase a bed cover for it, but haven't had a chance to install it which would get the rain from filling the bed and leaking into the tank!
It runs great (when we get the water out of the tank) and sounds like a beast. Turns heads when we drive it around town!
LASTLY!
If you want to bid on it, ask me all questions before you bid. I have more pictures and will take more of anything you want, including video of it running. I had it up for bid earlier in the year, but the person that "won" the bid came and tried to negotiate when he got here. It was an old man that claimed he didn't understand ebay and thought he could come and look at it after he won the bid and then negotiate. I knew something was wrong when he pulled up without another driver or trailer! So because of that experience, nonrefundable deposit will have to be deposited after winning the bid and before you come to get it. You can come and look at it as much as you want before you bid!
