Here's the story on this special low mileage Corvette. I purchased this car from one of my customers. I've known Mr. Kocher for almost 20 years and he was the original owner. He was 50 years old when he bought it brand new. He flew to Detroit to pick it up and then drove it home. He's now 92 years old and wheelchair bound as has sold most of his car collection. It's been garaged since day one and still has retained nearly all of its original components along with the interior and paint. He had the original tires with the car but I opted not to take them as they would just sit in my shop and take up space. This survivor and low mileage Corvette has never been pulled apart, driven hard or ever abused. This Corvette has literally been driven less than 500 miles per year! It's about as original as you will ever find. It drives super tight and very well with no play or wandering, rattles or squeaks..that's hard to find in an old Corvette. She starts right up with no smoking or roughness and runs incredibly smooth. This is one of the reasons that I bought it but I'm moving out of my shop and downsizing and will not have room for her. I bought new front and rear bumpers and install kits from Eckler's Corvette which will be included withthe sale. They just dried out and are split and cracked. I just don't have the time right now to install and paint them. There's also a nice car cover and an ac compressor seal kit that go with the car. The rear o-ring on the ac comp is leaking so the kit is included. The T-Top covers and the original chrome snap on license plate rings and dealer brochure go with it. Please email me with any questions. Good luck bidding but please do not ask the reserve. It is set fair and will be revealed once it has been met. If you'd like to make me an offer, please do sovia eBay and please remember if I accept your offer, you are bound to complete the transaction and pay....no dreaming please! Thanks, Drew
