Description of 1968 Chevrolet C-10 SWB |
1968 Chevy C-10 SWB Bagged truck. This truck underwent a professionalcustom body off transformation that has hundreds upon hundreds of hours in the build. This truck runs on an air bag system and has a 3" z'd frame and other modifications that allow this ride to lay frame. The motor was alsolowered back down 2.75" during the build. The list of new parts used on this truck is long, including: Complete new air ride system, new ball joints, new carpet, new weather stripping, new dash pad. The panels in the floor were repaired, undercoated and sound deadened. The stock wheels were powder coated and wrapped in new rubber (even the spare). The stock center caps were retained to enhance the patina look. The braking system was completely rebuilt, including new lines -all four wheel cylinders and new shoes. The 350 motor in this truck is strong. Ithas new parts that include: Edelbrock 650 carburetor, water pump, fuel pump, HEI distributor, alternator, starter etc. etc... It had head work with roller rockers and a mild cam during the rebuild to give it that THUMP THUMP. It has a 350 auto trans that allows you to cruise down the road with no worries. This sweet truck looks like it was just hauled out of the field (patina and all), however it rides sooo smooth just inches from the ground. It gets attention everywhere you go, especially when you arrive and let the air out and drop it down on the frame. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like additional pictures. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time for any reason, unless the reserve has been met. The truck is also for sale locally. Truck is sold as is, here is.
