Description of 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

Up for sale is this killer 1959 Chevy Belair that has had just about every part replaced or reworked on the car. The car has an awesome look and gets attention everywhere it goes. There has been a ton of money spent on this car in all the right places. Anyone who knows these cars will know what they're looking at and knows how much time, effort and money has been spent on it.
Exterior:
  • The metallic silver paint is freshly redone and looks great out in the sun. There are just a very few small imperfections here and there but overall it looks awesome.
  • All of the trim, grille, bumpers, etc. have ALL been rechromed and look amazing as well. The center area of the side trim was painted metallic copper to match the interior.
  • All of the glass is brand new and in great shape and all of the window seals were replaced when the new glass was installed. The window felts are all new as well.
  • The brand new Billet Specialties "Bonneville G" wheels are 18x8" up front and 20x10" out back and have brand new custom made Toyo 245/40/18" redline tires up front and 275/40/20" redline tires out back.
  • All of the floor pans were professionally replaced with new H&H Classic replacement pans.
  • All of the head light and tail light lenses are new.
  • A pair of brand new rear antennas were installed as well.
Interior:
  • All of the interior including seat covers, door panels, headliner, carpet and package tray is brand new from Ciadella Interiors and looks amazing.
  • The dash and all interior garnish moldings were painted the same matching metallic copper that goes with the interior and center of the exterior side trim.
  • The electric Classic Instruments "All American" gauges are all brand new and match the silver exterior of the car for a nice touch.
  • The Lokar shifter has a nice custom made shifter boot that matches the headliner material.
  • All of the interior door handles, window rollers, door lock knobs and wiper switch handle are brand new.
  • All of the windows roll up and down smoothly and the vent windows open and close smoothly.
  • The correct 4 pin brake light switch was used when doing the LS swap to unlock the converter when the brakes are engaged.
  • There is a new wiper motor harness and the windshield wipers work like new.
Drivetrain:
  • This is one of the best parts of the car. The fuel injected LS and overdrive make the car so enjoyable to drive.
  • The engine is a low mileage 5.3 liter V8 with all new gaskets, new LS swap oil pan kit, new alternator, new water pump, new starter, new O2 sensors, and Ls1 Camaro intake manifold. It has a new Lokar throttle cable.
  • All new stainless braided fuel line and AN fittings were used in the fuel system.
  • A new Walbro 255lph inline fuel pump was used in conjunction with a Corvette style fuel filter/regulator and is mounted to the frame rail under the car.
  • LS Simple provided the alternator relocation bracket that moves the alternator up and out for a cleaner look.
  • The Ls3 Camaro exhaust manifolds tuck right in between the frame rails and run through dual exhaust out the back of the car for a great sound.
  • All new LS swap engine and transmission mounts were used from BRP Hot Rods when the engine and transmission was installed.
  • The engine has the Taylor "Spacer-Max" valve cover conversion kit to bolt the early style Chevrolet script valve covers on the late model LS engine. This setup works as a valve cover, coil mount and adapts the early valve covers to the newer enginefor a great vintage look to the newer engine.
  • The transmission is a 4L60e automatic overdrive with a new torque converter and a new external transmission cooler.
  • The rear end is the original rear to the car that has been freshened up with new axle seals and had new wheel studs installed.
  • A brand new PSI Conversion LS swap wiring harness was used for the perfect plug & play LS swap. The ECM is hidden under the dash and makes for a super clean install. The computer was professionally tuned as well.
  • The radiator is a new aftermarket aluminum unit with an electric fan mounted as a puller.
  • The car runs down the road great, has great power, starts right up, has great oil pressure, no leaks and doesn't smoke.
  • A brand new custom made two piece drive shaft was built to accommodate the LS swap and a heavy duty billet aluminum center carrier bearing was installed.
Suspension:
  • Almost all of the suspension components are either new or replaced.
  • The air ride suspension components are all brand new and the system consists of a ViAir compressor and AirLift bags. Manual paddle valves are used for easy operation and dual needle gauges are easy to read and easy to set the ride height.
  • The front end was all redone with new ball joints and inner and outer tie rod ends when the air suspension was installed.
  • A new Panhard bar was installed when the air suspension was added to the rear of the car as well.
  • The power steering was upgraded with a brand new CPP 500 series steering box and all new power steering hoses. The steering feel and response is amazing and so much better than the old 605 power steering conversion that many of these cars have gotten over the years.
  • The brakes were upgraded with all new 4 wheel disc brakes and a new manual master cylinder. The car stops great even with the manual master cylinder. New brake lines and hoses were installed.
