Description of 1967 Chevrolet C-10

For sale is a '68 C-10 with a '67 front clip, the body is in reasonably good shape with very little rust, maybe just a couple little bubbles in the cab corners. The only other rust I know of is a little hole in the battery tray. It looks like the rocker panels and outer floors have been replaced at one time. No huge dents, its got the normal dings for a truck of its age. The bed is probably the nicest part of the truck. The bed floor hardly has any dings or dents for a truck of its age. The interior seems to be unmolested, wiper motor works, heater controls work really good, windows go up and down really nice, seat has some tears on the drivers side, and original dash is in great shape. The 327 motor is rare! It is out of a '67 Corvette - 375 HP, its got the following: dome top pistons, 292 comp cam, pro comp aluminum heads, its runs really good, but could still use some final tuning, and has less than 1000 miles since rebuild. It has a Saginaw 4 speed tranny out of a '69 Firebird, which sometimes has problems going into 4th gear, I think it could be the shifter out of adjustment. I bought a cheap shifter and it appears you get what you pay for. It will also need a clutch soon. I would also recommend going through the brakes. I bled them out, but the truck had been sitting for 5 or 6 years before I got it. The following parts are new: tires, radiator, battery, battery cables, alternator, starter, cowl and door seals, master cylinder, the wheels have been powder coated. I did a clear coat over the existing paint to preserve the patina. It gets lots of compliments everywhere I go, and it just won an award at a local car show. I listed this ounce before and was shocked it only got up to $6500. This is a rare motor these days, I would be willing to sell without the motor. Shoot me a email if interested without the motor. Hear the truck run and see a 360 video of the truck at https://youtu.be/ipc1hTy9CdY on Youtube.
