Description of 1965 Chevrolet Nova Custom 2 door hardtop |
This car has Shiny black paint, straight body panels, No rust anywhere, Polished stainless under hood and on fender wellsfor shows, lots of chrome. All glass is goo, have small repair in windshield froma rock peck. All guages work, horn works, all lights work (right turn signal quit working last month may be a bulb.) Engine: Built 350 with hydraulic flat tappet camshaft (sounds real good) . Installed Fi-tech EFi system in september forcruisin the coast and it really works good and helped performance. Ceramic coated Dyno Tech headers with 3" exhaust to the rear of car. Double hump heads,Edlebrock chrome valve covers,chrome airbreather,waterpump,alternator, Polished dual plane intake manifold with the 600 hp fi-tech EFI throttle body. MSD pro billetdistributor,MSD coil, MSD 6AL ignition box (in glove box) Northern aluminum radiator, three electric fans, 16" puller,2-7" pushers controlled by the Fi-tech ecm. Drivetrain/Suspension : Heidts superide II with coil overs,rack and pinion steering. Four wheel disc brakes (not power) and new brake lines. Transmission is a 700R overdrive with Transco 2 shift kit, corvette servo, torque converter has2500 stall, transmission cooler. Rear end is a ford 9" with strange axles, richmond 390 positive gears.Four link system with subframe connectors on rear. Wheels are BUDNIK custom with 18" michelin tires onfront and 20" michelin tires on rear, car has not been tubbed. Exterior: Black shiny paint, very straight body panels, NO rust, shaved door handles, shaved gas tank lid, all keywaysremoved. Gas tank fill is in the trunk. New bumpers, stainless trim looks good, most of it is new. Door poppers onKey fob with alarm system. Electric trunk release is behind the glove box door. Have emergency system for doorsand trunk entry. Led rear lights, brake lights turn red when pressed.. This car has quality paint job on it. Interior: New gray tweed fabric interior, headliner,carpet. (just had more cushion added to seats) Flaming River tilt steering,shifter is a B&M "Quick Silver", Guages are Phantom Autometer, (tach,gas,speedometer,oil,temp,volt) all work.Just had new pioneer am/fm/'CD installed. Installed rear seat belts (grandkids love to ride in this car) Vintage Air/heatworks good with most lines hidden from view. Other: The hood is fiberglass with polished stainless panel underneath for shows to go along with the polished stainless innerfenders.Powder coated hood springs,front end. New painless wiring, alarm system. New gas tank and sending unit. IF you don't want the FI-tech EFI system, I will put the Holley HP double pumper 650 back on car for $1500 off price andkeep it for my 1965 chevelle.
