I bought this 64 Impala SS from a very good customer customer ofmine that always had a car in my shop about 15 years ago. He brought it in for me to restore for him, he had some health problems so he decided to sell it. I have been working on it between customers cars so I didn't get as far as I should have. My landlord decided to not renew my lease after being a tenant for 27 years, he had other plans for the property. So with that being said I really don't want to sell it but its been in storage for the past 18 months and I don't see me opening another shop. The motor is a 409 with dual quads that is NOT original to the car. It is a 4 speed car with a new clutch. All the brakes have been done, body mounts and bushing were replaced along with complete trunk and interior floors. The gas tank, fuel sending unit and fuel pump are new also. The front and rear bumper reinforcement have been sandblasted and painted. The bumpers have been rechromed and are stillwrappedin paper. The motor has been rebuilt before I bought it and has about 10 miles on it, the mileage from my customers mechanic to my shop. I replaced the lower quarters, and pretty much finished up the bodywork on the left door fender and hood that I replaced with a new one. All of the hard work is done it just needs the bodywork to be finished up. I do have almost all the chrome if not all of it, it is driver quality that would need to be buffed up. I havea lot of the weatherstrips, just not sure of which ones as I bought them as I came across them. The power top motor was rebuilt, it probably needs lines I didn't get to that point yet. I don't have the top but do have the frame. The seats are there and need to be redone, it is missing the door panels. The rear seat back is there but is missing the bottom part of the seat. This is a great project for someone to finish up. The car has to be sold with a bill of sale, Connecticut does not issue titles on cars older than 15 years. Buyer is responsible for transportation. There is noguarantee being offered and is being sold as is. A $500 deposit is due 48 hours after the auction ends. The balance must be paid before pickup. Thanks for looking
