Description of 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS |
Hello, Thanks for stopping in to check on this sweet 67 Camaro RS Coupe! Please let me spare you some time if your just looking for a cheap rust bucket camaro which you will find everywhere going for 7,10 grand right here on ebay. You may even have to drag it out of a field as well. No I'm sorry but I really dont have much time for lowball hagglers kicking tires all day. I'm pretty firm on my asking price of $14,000. I'm very sure of what these cars are worth. And believe me, I'm just about breaking even selling at this price. So in advance I wish you good luck in finding what your looking for and no bad feelings here. Just had to put that out there. The car needs some work and is considered a project but also please keep in mind that the car has tons of potential and not far from actually being able to drive. The has two previous owners besides myself. Yes it's absolutely a true "RS" Camaro. It has the Original hideaway lights. The car was originally Mountain Green which is a very desirable color. The previous owner intended on painting it ruby red and is currently primed gray. The car originally came with a 327 V8 with a automatic transmission and shifter on the column. Also originally had air condition. Now there is a 350 LT1 engine in it that came out of a 1970 corvette, and it has a Muncie M22 "Rock crusher 4speed manual transmission in it that came out of a 74 big block corvette. Also has a Hurst shifter. The car originally came with black interior and a front bench seat. The previous owner swears the engine runs and ran it about 3 years ago, but I have not ran the engine. The previous owner also stated that the engine was rebuilt with maybe only 4k miles on it. Anyway, it's a solid Chevy engine (Not seized) and It doesn't take much to start these old engines. The engine will need to be completely looked over meaning > checking all the electrical and mechanical, Some loose wires need to be gone through in the engine bay. The linkage to the throttle on carb needs to be fixed. Also, There is an electronic fuel pump that works but fuel is leaking from carb. So I intended on buying a new carb before I tried to run it. The Fuel is good in the tank so no worries. I would recommend a complete tune up and have all the fluids changed. Someone who knows their way around these chevy 350 engines could get it up and running in no time! Im 100 sure you could get the engine to run. If this "engine" not running hinders the sale of the car I have no problem getting the car running just as long as I have a serious buyer and a deposit on the car. But please take full note that the car is not currently running and these terms must be accepted before your purchase. The car is being sold "as is" and in it's current condition and NO warranty expressed or implied. Your welcome to come and see the car in person or i can send you additional photos. Also please take note: The car will need a full brake job> Absolutely has NO BRAKES! Again NO BRAKES!! NON NUMBERS MATCHING; Muncie M22 4 speed w/Hurst shifter. One of the linkage was put on incorrectly> upside down. very easy fix . Clutch feels good. The Original 10 bolt swapped out for a 12 bolt posi w/ 456 gears. The original hood, fender, hood valance, bright work/trim, and any other parts I have that pertain to this car will be included with this sale. Has new carpet installed, rear deck panel. The seats were out of a 69. No I do not have the OE front grill. New BF Goodrich TA Tires and true GM Rally wheels! New Chevy mirrors and door handles and comes with OE door handles as well. Has a new steel L88 style hood, fender and front hood valence. I have all new door locks and GM keys that go with the car. I have a clean transferable registration and complete bill of sale. All the glass with the exception of the windshield is all there. The door windows, rear glass, and pass windows are all original and they roll up and down perfectly. The rear window needs to be sealed and installed> just loose in the track. I purchased a brand new front and rear window installation kit which includes all the necessary clips and bonding sealant. This too goes with the sale. Lots of new and OE parts that goes with the car!!! 1967 Camaro RS "Rally Sport" (True RS) VIN 124377N125694 Trim Tag 10E E ST 67-12637 NOR 25871 BODY TR 767-H H-H PAINT 2ER 3SDL Please make note that the car is listed elsewhere on the internet and I may cancel this listing at any given time.
