Description of 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Hardtop 2-Door |
1970 Chevrolet SS Chevelle Check out this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle. The car was professionally restored. The undercarriage is as clean as the top side (see pics). The car has been just completed. It has a few hundred miles on it total. The car starts, idles and accelerates like a rocket with the brand new 383 crate motor and Edelbrock direct port fuel injection. Rebuilt GM 700R4 overdrive transmission shifts smoothly. The new front end makes the car cruises down the road at highway speeds with no vibrations, pops, squeaks or wandering. It steers with ease due to the power steering and the disk brakes stop on a dime with no pulling or vibrations. The rebuilt 12 bolt posi rear end with 355 gears gives you the low end “pin you to your seat” acceleration that will make you grin from ear to ear. The 4 spd overdrive transmission lets you cruise down the highway at 80 mph with ease. It is a very good cruiser, very dependable and a real eye catcher. The paint is fresh and in very good shape with no scratches, dings or issues. It was professionally wet sanded and buffed to a mirror finish. It is a beautiful shade of bright red and shines like you would not believe. The body work is very straight. Many, many hours went into the body work to achieve such a nice paint job. The body gaps are all good with no fitment issues. You should be able to drive this to California and back without a single problem other than the crowd it draws when you stop for gas. Fly in and drive it home. If car shows are your thing then you should be able to bring home many trophies with this beautiful car. I have set a reasonable But It Now price. It is WAY less than you could ever come close to building this car for. The following is a list of some options and equipment but by no means a complete list of what has went into building this awesome car. Body The paint is new and very nice!
