NUMBERS MATCHING!! NUMBERS MATCHING!!1968 Impala Super Sport Convertible 396 Big Block car. YES, a TRUE SUPER SPOR, BIG BLOC, CONVERTIBLE - What More Could You Ask For? :) And it has Hideaway Headlights.( some vacuum lines need redone but everything is still there). It was built in ST. Louis. But its been a Colorado car its whole life up until My family and I moved back home to NC just a little before summer. Its a wonderful car, we enjoy driving it as much as we can. Just had it out a couple weekends ago on the Blue Ridge Parkway all day long and put well over 200 miles on it just that day alone. Took it last weekend on a drive across the Mountain to TN. Not hesitant at all to tell you to Grab a plane ticket and fly in. Ill pick you up at the airport and you can Drive it Home. Its a super nice driver. Its great on the highway. Only selling it because we need to Get back on track and the move home here to NC was more than expected. It does have some imperfections, Like I said- I Drive it.Bugs splattered on the front end all the time -lol. But still super nice car and gets Thumbs up and pictures taken of it and with it anywhere we go.When we went with the color choices we did on it, it was because we wanted it to be a little bit more then the typical Triple Black. Thats why we had Billy Murphy do a one off Hand Stitched Burgundy interior. And even though its hard to see, the interior is actually done with black stitching. If you look at the interior pix close you will see that. The top is done in a Burgundy Stayfast material. Not a kit either, actually had this one hand stitched as well for a precise fit. And I also had a matching parade boot made as you can see from the pic of it in the trunk. I don't always put it on because when the top is down I like to show off the Fully powderCoated Glossy Black convertible rack. (not just some cheap paint like I see done on a lot of convertible racks). Paint, Interior and Top were all done within the past 2 YearsThe upper side trim was shaved when the paint and body work was done but the lower rocker trim wasn't. The holes for lower trim are still there, my trim pieces were lost at the polisher and i just haven't replaced them yet. Easy pieces to get ahold of though. And we shaved the side emblems as well, But I have been actually thinking of re-drilling side holes for JUST the Emblems. It has all new Belts and Hoses on it.New wheel and axle seals in the rear end. Its still a Drum brake car but It does have new brakes all the way around. If for some reason my price isn't met, then this car will get a modern upgrade of Disc brakes because thats all I would ever change on it.Motor was completely redone some years back. (no paperwork so just sharing info). It has Dual Flowmaster 50Series mufflers with Full 2.5'' Stainless Exhaust up and Over the axle and dumps behind rear wheels. One of the best sounding cars Ive ever owned in my life. Has a perfect rumble, but can still talk at regular volumes when on the highway and the tops down.I could go on and on .... If you have any questions that I haven't covered feel free to give me a call (text is best to start because phone gets no signal in these mountains). 303##746---1852.Id love to answer any other questions you might have.
