Up for auction is a 1978 Chevrolet C10 Silverado Big 10 pick-up truck with a Matching numbers special ordered 454ci big block engine. It's also has the original turbo 400 transmission along with its original 12 bolt rear end. It's still has the factory air conditioning and factory radio. Does not have the factory wheels the wheels on the truck now are after market wheels. From the pictures you can see this is a very solid truck and not a rust bucket. The only four spots that I saw are pictured with rust damage through the sheet metal very small patches that can be sectioned and repair easily. The driver and passenger sides of the floors are the affected areas very small. Then the other two affected areas are the rear quarters of the driver and passenger side and that's it. The rest of the truck is very solid the engine compartment is very clean no rust that includes the fire wall, inner fenders radiator support, cowl it is all amazing very clean with little to almost no paint discoloration. The underneath of the truck is great not good but great! The underneath is not rusted out on anything frame or underneath bed. I have tons of pictures of the engine compartment and more so feel free to message me If you need more pictures. The truck has dual fuel tanks and currently is only pulling fuel from the driver tank. The truck has power windows the motors still work. The truck has power door locks but they are not working. The factory air conditioning is all there but is not working is doesn't have a power to it. All the head and tail lights and turn signals and hazard lights work on this truck. This truck has power steering that works great. The engine runs good and strong and doesn't smoke or burn oil and the transmission shifts smooth with no problems. The tires will need replacing. The vin number is there for anyone who's wanting to decode this truck. I bought this truck in Sanford, NC from the original owners son. It was special ordered by his dad and handed down to him years later. Him and his father have a 3000 acre farm and this truck was used on their farm as well as driving into town. These trucks are rare to find with the 454 engines from factory and are getting hard to find in general. This truck is all original except for intake manifold, carburetor, air cleaner, and wheels. It is at the stock height and has been molested. This truck with a little time and effort could bring 20K or more. With that being said please don't send silly offers for this truck. This a great deal and priced right. I have a clean North Carolina title in my name and in my hand. I can have the title transfered and notarized for the buyer and overnight mail the title to them if they can't come locally and plan to have the truck shipped. Payment options are cash for local pick up or if buyer is shipping instead of local pick up I will request a bank wire transfer. I will be glad to answer any questions that I can and send more pictures if needed. I have tried to picture and describe the truck the best I can and I'm not trying to misrepresent it in any fashion. If you look at my feedback you will see that. I encourage all who are able to come and look and closely inspect this truck, just message me your number and we'll set up an appointment. For a buyers that will need shipping I will be glad to assist you with getting this shipped if you can't pick up locally, however buyer responsible for shipping cost. Excepted payments are cash upon local pick up or bank wire transfer for buyers that will have it shipped. Buyer it to have made the full payment with 7 days.
