Description of 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible |
Seven Hills Motorcars is proud to offer this triple black 1964 Corvette Convertible in great driver condition with a 4-Speed manual transmission that is ready to be enjoyed. ThisCorvette looks good, runs well, and drives great. We feel as if our asking price for this Corvette is very reasonable and that the car is definitely priced to sell. It is difficult to find any "Mid Year" or C2 Corvette for anything under $40,000, let alone one that runs and drives as well as this car. We believe that this was an original L76 327ci 365hp model Corvette. It looks good, has a clean interior, and is totally solid. Please peruse all of the photos, video, and other information below to get a true sense of how nice this Corvette really is. I have personally put about 50 miles on this Sting Ray and during that time is was completely reliable with no issues and a pleasure to drive. There is a ton of paperwork and documentation that goes with the car. There are copies of previous titles and ownership history back to the late 1970's. There are also over many receipts for service, maintenance, and parts for the car over the years. Included with the paperwork is a receipt for the engine rebuild. This Corvette is well tuned and runs very strong with a lot of power and a great sound. There are some signs that this is an original L76 365hp Corvette such as the 6500 redline tachometer. While this car is not completely numbers matching it does have a 3858174 engine block, which is a casting number that was used on C2 Corvettes and 3890490 aluminum intake manifold, which is for a 1966 L79 350hp Corvette. As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our Corvettes come from owners who expect their car to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Corvette, just give us a call.
