Description of 1963 Chevrolet C-10 2 door truck |
Check out my other COOL items! CLEAN OKLAHOMA TITLE & CURRENT NON-OP TAG INCLUDED! Pretty nice old 1963 Chevy pickup, it is the short bed with big back glass which is the most desired of this body style. It has later model front clip installed, looks to be off a 1965-66 chevy pickup. Also The front suspenion has been updated and is from a 1985 Chevy pickup, the rear hasn't been changed over yet, but the 85 rearend is included and in the bed of the truck. Truck seems to be complete minus the radiator and drivetrain. I got this truck on a trade and am already working on 3 other projects so no time for it or I'd build it. I love these trucks they look awesome slammed. There is some rust in the cab, probably usual places, driver rocker has had a repair and cab corner looks good. Passenger rocker needs replaced and cab corner needs replaced. Both kick panel/toe board aread will need rust repair. Pretty common on these trucks. Also there is a small line of bubbling near the driver visor. Back glass is good, windshield will need replaced as well as the old side windows. The passenger door has a 6x9 cut into the bottom, but there is another passenger door included in the bed to replace that mess. The fenders looks decent, someone patched some rust on them at some point. The bed has a few small 1.5"x1.5" holes where someone had planned on repairing some rust holes behind the braces and didn't finish. The rear tailgate is ok, it's not perfect unless you'ere building a rat rod. The PO also cut and installed some ford tail lights, which actually fit the end of the bed caps perfectly, I was surprised. Their job wasn't the best so it will need repaired or run em. The bed has a piece of plywood in it, I'm sure the old bed planks are gone. The bed is also filled with extra parts, the front and rear bumpers are in there, the rearend, the extra door, and also a bunch of little parts, like partking lights, and motor mounts. The steering box from the 85 wasn't installed, but it is in the bed. It does roll fine to load you just have to manually steer it. The front tires hold air for loading and unloading. Seat appears to have been from the 85 as well I think. The column was from the same vehicle I think, and needs the lower pieces to mount it to the dash. Also the PO cut the center of the dash out to smooth it and didn't finish. Pretty decent little truck and really would be awesome to cruise. · ASK ALL QUESTIONS · NO WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. · WINNER WILL HAVE TO ARRANGE SHIPPING OR PICK UP THE TRUCK FROM MY PLACE. · $350 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED AT END OF AUCTION. · VEHICLE LEFT LONGER THAN 30 DAYS WILL BE ASSUMED ABANDONED AND RESOLD. · THIS IS A PROJECT, DON'T EXPECT TO DRIVE IT HOME. · BRING A TRAILER AND CASH!!
