This auction is for a 1950 Chevrolet Deluxe 2 door coupe. It has a 216 6cyl with 3spd manual transmission on the column. Prior owner says the motor was rebuilt a few years back. Does run excellent. Transmission shifts smoothly. A split manifold and dual exhaust was added. Has a nice snappy sound. Was converted to 12 volt system. Has had recent brakes . The body on the car is in real decent shape. There are a few small blisters on the very bottom front of the passenger door. There are a few waves on the back part of the roof and a small dent on the passenger rear quarter panel. That is basically it for any outside issues. The fender, doors, quarters, deck lid, all solid. The under side of the car is good and solid. Frame and suspension are nice and clean not scaly like you see on most of these type cars. Someone did replace the front floor pans with new ones. Everything from the middle of the car back looks original and solid. Trunk pan is original and solid. A couple of the outrigger braces need to be capped. Overall a good decent car the way it is or can be cleaned up to be nicer. Custom atteneas were frenched in on drivers side rear quarter. Interior is in fair shape . Seats and door panels were redone at one time. Carpets are good . Headliner needs reattaching on drivers side .Glass is all in good shape. The dash was missing a few chrome trim and the radio so we picked up some others and placed them in the trunk. We have the glove box door . It was supposedly signed by Big Daddy Roth in 1963 .There are extra grill piece, a heater, interior trim panels and misc pieces that go with the car. This is a car that you can get in and drive now the way it is and make it nicer at your convenience. There are not many coupe models out there . We have a current transferable registration and proper paper work for a smooth transaction. We require a $500 dollar non refundable deposit at close of sale and balance to be paid within 3 days of close of auction.
