Description of 1992 Chevrolet Corvette Base Hatchback 2-Door

This is my 40,000 mile 1992 base corvette. I have always been an older Porsche guy; my dad liked Corvettes and I bought this one to drive for a bit as a tribute to him after he passed away. I bought it at an auction for $6k; put another $7k into it to make everything work, get smogged, and drive reliably on weekends. But I just like driving the 911s better than the Vette. If you've wanted an original C4 Vette, you're just not going to find one better for the money.
It is not a show car, but it is an exceptional daily driver. Everything works. Recently put on new tires, repaired leather on seats, replaced power seat motors. New catalytic converter, optispark, and alternator within the last 2,000 miles. The only problems I see are some scratches on the interior (common to almost all of the C4 models because of the odd rubberized finish on some center console parts); some weather stripping is aged--I've also replaced some, like around the rear hatch; and door panels that are a little loose if you pull on them--also common on every one of these I've seen; the driver's floor carpet is worn in places--the rest of the interior is amazing for its age. Not perfect, but really only some interior work to make it feel as new as you can make a 25 year old car be. It runs smooth, it's fast, good AC, and power everything.
I have two tops for it: one is the "glass" (plexi) and the other is a standard removable hardtop painted to match the car. All paint is in great shape except for some small chips on the front and a little "spider" mark on the hood, which you can't see unless up close.
