Description of 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 --

All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. I can assist with financing and transport as needed. The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is one of the most iconic images in the automotive world. The bullet front grille, bombsight hood ornaments, wonderful use of chrome, wraparound windows, and those perfect tail fins! If you've got one on your radar then take a look at this attractive hardtop. This dry western car is just what you want when buying a classic. The body and frame are rust-free and straight, giving a great foundation to this beauty. The body mount bushings have all been replaced so everything sits evenly without any sag. The car has been repainted its original code 808D Imperial Ivory (upper) / Inca Silver (lower) which is such a classy look. The bumpers shine brightly and the Rally wheels look right at home. A factory V8 car, the engine has been replaced with a 1971 CJD-code 350ci rated at 270hp. This is a reliable street motor that does everything well. It has been fitted with an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and 4-barrel carburetor, while the ignition uses an MSD 6AL box. The exhaust retains the original style ram-horn exhaust manifolds feeding the dual exhaust. The transmission is a column-shifted TH350 automatic with crossmember for a more stable mount than the original configuration. The interior stays true to its original code 670 black/silver and is a real blast from the past. Everything is stock appearing except for the underdash stereo and aftermarket steering wheel. There is also a Lokar accelerator pedal. All factory gauges and indicators work properly, including the oil and generator (now alternator) lights. The wipers, heater, horn, dome light, and parking brake are also functional. All windows operate smoothly too. This really is a sharp car and a great example of a true American classic. It is complete and ready to go, as straight and solid as you'll find. It is also one of those cars everyone will want to stop and talk about!
