THIS TRUCK IS A PROJECT. IT WILL NEED TO BE TOWED. THE BRAKES ARE NOTHOOKED UP. THE REAR END IS LOCKED UP FROM THE TRUCK SITTING.THE ENGINE HAS NOT BEEN STARTED SINCE 2009, ENGINE WAS RAN 30 MIN AT 2000 TO 2500 RPM TO BREAK IN CAMSHAFT. THE ENGINE WAS RUN ANOTHER 15 MIN AND I BELIEVE AN OIL RING BROKE BECAUSE IT STARTED SMOKING. THAT WAS THE LAST TIMETHE ENGINE WAS STARTED.This is a 1967 Chevy K20 4x4 longbed with the original 327 4bbl. The stock sm420 transmission/ Rockwell tranfercase broke andhave been removed and sm465 tranny/np205 transfer case installed with a new complete clutch kit. The truck has a 6" lift with 35/12.50/15 Mickey Thompson Baja Claws. I have owned this truck since 1999 and in 2004 the transmission went out and I was going through a divorce and the exp%&wanted the truck so I letthe truck sit till 2008 where I put an sm465/np205 out of and 84GMC 1 ton 4x4. The 3/4 ton axles were removed for 1/2 ton axles with front disk brakes. In 2008 I pulled the motor and put new main and rod bearings in along with new crane cam and lifters. I cannot remember the cam size at the moment but I believe its a crane fireball 272 duration with .454 lift with 1.5 roller tip rockers. new heads were installed with 1.84 intake/1.5 exhaust valves with 58cc chambers. the heads are 1984 305 heads. I have the original headsthat came on the truck from the factory and they will go with the truck. The stock heads are 1.72 intake 1.50 exhaust valves.The engine is standard bore small journal 327 2 bolt main with forged steel crank.Ithas the original 4 jet carbon it. I do nothave the original oil bath air cleaner and canister oil filter I was a stupid kidback then andthrew thoseparts out. The truck has littlesurface rust for being this oldas it sat in a barn from mid 80's to around late 98. The guy I bought the truck from bought it from the original owner's family member as the original owner passed away in the mid 80's. The truck has minor rust and is not rusted through the rockers and cab corners like most of these trucks are, I put new energy suspensioncab and core support bushings on the truck back in 2009 and new carriage bolts in the original wood bed. The truck has 3 gas tanks. the bed tanks are 12 gallon I believe and the tank behind the seat is 20 gallon. Cab lights and Tow hooks are original. The hood has 2 dents on top in front from the wind blowing it over. I also have a 1 piece rear driveline that was made to fit the sm465/np205. Also the front and rear gears are different ratio. I did auto glass for 15 years so back in 2001 I put a rear slider and new windshield with new gasket and added the chrome gasket.The truck was in my dads shop for the last 5 years. its been outside for about year n half now and i hate to see it sit.
