Description of 1973 Chevrolet Corvette

1973 Corvette Coupe in great shape for sale. It is perfect for a weekend driver and or an excellent candidate for show-quality restoration. The corvette is numbers matching and has been kept as original as possible. A few specialists have looked the car over and have nothing to say but good things about the car. Body – Excellent lines all the way around. everything fits where it is supposed to. Doors line up perfectly. Fiberglass bumper has been installed with exacto-knife cut seam in the body and front fender. New paint looks great; there is a touch of overspray in a few places though. Luggage rack is included. There is some rust on the rear bumpers. The frame has only minor surface rust; overall it looks great. Comes with aluminum rally wheels. Engine – Numbers matching. A corvette specialist has checked the engine block. transmission. and a few other areas and everything is original. Engine has been professionally rebuilt. Radiator. fan. etc. . alternator. water pump. air cleaner. and intake manifold all work great and all are original. New Holley Carburetor is installed. Original Rochester Quadrajet is included. Drivers side headlight works well with new relay and actuator. but after being looked at passenger side headlight needs new relay valve. There are no vacuum leaks. Front and rear lights work well. Corvette was originally installed with AC but the AC is not working. New AC wiring has been installed. Brake calipers have been professionally rebuilt and the brakes work great. New brake master cylinder. New parking brake. Windshield wipers work but are not currently hooked up. The washer pump however does not work. 4 speed manual transmission shifts nicely. Interior – Original Dark Saddle Deluxe Leather Trim interior. All four seat belts with retractors are new. Cores have been kept. Mats and center cushion are included. The carpet is coming off in the rear-most portion of the interior. The drivers seat leather is well worn. The passenger’s looks great though. The T-tops weather stripping is worn and brittle. All the cluster gauges work. New temperature sending unit installed. The radio does not work. The driver’s door lock sometimes gets completely stuck. The right rear blinker has recently not been working; the light does however work well. The corvette runs and drives well. It has recently been driven on the interstate for some time and there were no noises or rattling. I have tried to be as conservative as I can in describing the corvette.
