53 CHEVROLETI have a super cool "project" that I will not be able to get to for a while. its a shortbed with a front subframe with independent front suspension and disk brakes. leaf spring rear with 10 bolt. so the truck now has 5x4. 75 gm bolt pattern. has a very nice aggressive stance and has 15 inch torq thrust wheels. The truck currently has a 350 small block with th350 trans that is currently not running (was running last summer but has just been sitting so it will not take much to get it going again)has a tilt steering column out of a new truck along with 2 bucket seats. also has a newer wiring harness that need to be finished. as for the body it is a super solid truck and only has small surface rust. very solid cab corners etc. all glass is in great shape too! the headlights have been frenched in as well. anyways my plans with the truck was to first get it running and then put airride suspension and either put the truck in matte black paint with red interior or do a faux patina paint job with a factory 53 truck color. possibly put it on white walls or 22's. The truck is for sale as is no warranty implied. I have clear title in hand and can help with arranging shipping as I have shipped a few cars and trucks. example for shipping a non running truck: (I shipped a 1953 5 window a few weeks ago from here to Iowa and the cost was $1100. 00 door to door which was 1150 miles) just to give you an idea.
