I was planning on sitting it on jack stands in front of my shop under a 6 foot orange & black Phillips pole sign. I've got five vintage trucks and am scaling down to just two - see my other listings for a nice 1969 International IH Scout and I'll soon be adding my 1946 Dodge tow truck with Weaver Crane. What a cool old truck to park in front of your shop or business. I purchased the period correct tanker assembly separately and set it on the truck. Engine and drivetrain are there but I’m sure will need completely rebuilt. The tank assembly is just sitting on it right now. Tires are shot. Needs the boxes built that go along each side of the tanks that would have held nozzles. etc. They would have doubled as storage and rear fenders. Simple to build. I was going to try and find some old boards to keep things looking old. No title. sells with a bill of sale. Back in the day all the old stations used trucks like this for fuel delivery: Texaco Phillips 66 Pure Conoco Standard Oil COOP DX D-X Sunoco Fina Mobil Red Crown Cities Service Esso Gulf Sinclair Exxon Humble Shell Tydol Veedol Flying A I think I'll also be posting my 1946 Dodge wrecker with custom wrecker body and Weaver Crane as well. keep an eye out for it. Payment due within (5) days of purchase. Local Pickup in Indianola. Iowa 50125. I will store this truck for as long as you want me to (and enjoy it). Note this will need to be picked up on a car trailer. preferably with a winch. I do not have a dock or way to get this on a trailer. I’ll be happy to help load evenings and weekends but don't think I have anything large enough to push it onto a trailer. FREE! Sellers: Add a FREE map to your listings. FREE!
