Description of 1984 Chevrolet C-10 Silverado |
A very nice c10 short bed pick up, this was originally a Tennessee truck, there is absolutely no rust, it is one of the cleanest sheet metal trucks I have owned. the body is very straight, no dings or dents. underneath is very clean, again no RUST!. The interior is nice, the original seat needs reupholstered, drivers side is worn, not torn. Dash has small crack in speaker area only. The motor is a 350 crate motor with approximately 5-10K, the turbo 350 transmission is freshly rebuilt. The truck was originally a 305 truck with A/C, the previous owner removed condenser and compressor(I have the compressor and bracket). The motor has a nice beefy cam, and runs great no smoke or leaks(small power steering hose leak). It needs the stock intake and exhaust manifolds replaced. I have a nice new pair of shorty headers to replace. Below is the Good and needs done to have a awesome show truck, this truck is a great driver as I have put nearly 2000 miles on since I have owned. Good:New paint approximately two years ago. I have pictures of before! All new window and door seals.New door panels and carpotNew 20 inch tires and wheelsNew lowering kit with shocksStrong motor starts up and cruises at 70 nicely.New alum. radiator and hoses.New vacuum linesAll lights workNew stereoNew Edelbrock 600 Carburator Needs:New Intake(help it to breath better vs. stock)New exhaust( current exhaust is fine, but needs headers) current exhaust is fine, goes only to rear axle. Nicely tucked and cannot see, I would nicely tuck angled downward behind each rear tire. A/C finished to stockSeat reupholsteredFactory Gauges rewired (haven't completed, previous owner decided to cut wires when swapping motor) Finally, this is one of the most solid older C10 I have owned, just needs some final work to truly make this a super cool shorty. NOTE: PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS, I WILL ANSWER AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. I WILL TAKE AND SEND ANY ADDTIONAL PICTURES YOU ASK FOR. Thank You For Looking On Dec-27-16 at 15:35:56 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE: ONLY THE OIL PRESSURE, TEMPEATURE AND ALT. GAUGES ARE NOT WORKING. I HAVE INSTALLED TEMPORARY GUAGES UNDER THE DASH, THAT WORKING WELL. On Dec-31-16 at 07:27:35 PST, seller added the following information:Note: I was asked if the truck would make a driving trip to Texas? I have driven the truck on several 3-4 hour trips and has done great. I am confident about the truck, but cannot guarantee that nothing would happen to the truck. What I will do for the winning bidder is take the truck to my mechanic and have it put on the rackfor inspection, I will pay for the inspection and any parts/labor needed. I do not want anyone to have a bad experience driving this truck home, I know how that feels.Thank YouScott |
