1978 Chevrolet Corvette *INDY PACE CAR* project ~25th Anniversary~

EXTERIOR:

The body is straight with no damage to the fiberglass. The paint is pretty worn as the car has been sitting outside. The car came out of New Mexico and is solid underneath. All of the window glass appears to be original and is in excellent shape. The T-tops are cracked and will need to be repaired or replaced.

INTERIOR:

The interior has seen better days. The seat upholstery and door panels will need to be replaced, as will the carpet. All of the trim pieces are present, but need to be cleaned up.

MECHANICAL:

The car will start and run, however the numbers matching L-82 350 SBC has a severe lower end knock and will need to be rebuilt. The transmission seems to be fine, but the car obviously hasn’t been driven far with the engine knock. The brakes and steering also seem to be functioning as they should.

**NOTE** The car is a project and will need to be trailered.
