Gorgeous 1959 Chevrolet Impala sport coupe "bubble top" 348 3 speed heater delete car!!! RARE!! Car has spent its entire life mostly in Arizona. Its first few years in California. This is a desert car, belonged to one family from the late 60's up until a couple years ago.Impala had a frame off restoration in the 90's.but was not 100% finished at the time.I was told everything was eithergone throughor rebuilt on the car, and I believe it because it looks sounds and feels like it...runs, drives, rides, breaks, steers great...We just changed the oil installing a Wix filterand 10-30 Valvoline and flushed the entire cooling system with Peak antifreeze and distilled water. The car has a great looking patina. Absolutely outstanding. It is still very presentable how ever the paint does have some patina/age i.e. nicks, scratches, couple dings and sun wear...but not horrible.the patina ismore so on thetop surfaces. Car is a very rare factory color combination called Cameo Coral and Satin beige. It is unusual to see two tone cars this was a big extra cost from the factory. Stainless on the car is all in very good condition. only found 2 faint dings.Chrome has all been redone, bumper, grill, tail light bezels, head light bezels, upper grill vents. It also has the rare California one piece bumpers. Very solid car from a dry desert climate with original quarter panels and trunk pan. The trunk pan is OUTSTANDING! Not even any pits.I do not have the trunk mat or spare. Rims are era correct chrome smoothies with new tires, do not have the originals. All exterior lights and turn signals work. Car has all new original wiring harnesses from front to back. As for the interior. The headliner is excellent as well as the garnish moldings. Front bench seat cover is in very good condition. Rear seat cover needs replaced. it has come apart from the sun beating on it. Carpet is faded but good shape. In order to make the interior really nice all you would need to do is get a new original style side panel kit, rear seat cover and carpet kit I recommend c.a.r.s. inc. . Then you would be styling! Glass all in great condition as well. As for the instrumentation. All dash lights work, odometer works says 82k,I was told this is correct but haszero's on the title and it is clean and clear.speedo stuck at 20MPH, hot/cold/oil lights all work asdoes the gas gauge. Radio not working. Glove box light works. Emergency brake works. It is very hard to find a 59 impala in this condition with a 348 that has been frame offed, the under carriage looks very very clean, with so much potential. You can rock it as is, as it runs and drives beautifully. Or do a little work and have a show car. I.E. Repaint and some interior. Everything else is great! Glass, tri, chrome, mechanical, etc. etc. I do have the center pieces for the front bumper and they have been re chrome along with a few other parts..This is the forward look andthe most lavish exotic car Chevrolet ever built. In the sun light the car looks like a totally different color more of a red look then a maroon. And yes this is a metallic color. Thank you for looking. I encourage and welcome all who are interested to come view the car in person. If you wish. Car is sold as is no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. I have described the car to the best of my knowledge. I encourage interested buyer to contact me with any question before bidding. 928 380 4743.
