1971 Chevy Custom Deluxe half ton truck. Originally a long bed, it has been shortened to a short bed. The bed has been cut and rewelded, has steel floor. Welds have been left exposed except the area that was painted white. Frame shortened 12 inches behind the cab, phish plated and boxed. The middle of the truck has been painted white, it had graphics on it that were peeling badly. Nicely painted with rattle cans. 350 engine and trans were pulled and resealed and repainted. No leaks. However the pan drain plug will need a new gasket at the next oil change. Engine runs well, a little cold blooded with out a choke.Wieand aluminum intake, Qudrajet 4 bbl. Alternator upgraded to 12 SI, wired correctly.Delco HEI ignition, wired correctly.Transmission shifts as it should. No major repairs have been done to the suspension. New front brake pads and shocks. A couple new bushings on the factory sway bar. Front is lowered by cutting a single coil from each spring. Bump stops have been removed. New master cylinder. Truck Rally wheels added. New dual exhaust from Rams horn manifolds back. "H" pipe with Flowmaster 40 copies. Decent interior, new carpet and dash pad. Seat fair, has some wear but still firm. no rips. 70s Camaro steering wheel, horn works but has wrong parts in the horn button, so the relay is unplugged for now. Dash and doors were already cut for stereo. Used Blaupunk CD player installed. Cd player only works when it want to. Radio works great. New door speakers. Stereo sound ok, nothing spectacular. Lower door carpet added, mainly to hide rust holes from other panels that were screwed to it in the past. Passenger side interior door rust had been patched. Solid but not pretty. Drivers side still has rust holes in that area. All gauges work, except fuel gauge. Have'nt determined if the gauge or sender or maybe just the resistor. New gauge bezel. Lighter works. This is an A/C truck but missing brackets and compressor. Heat only works on med fan speed at this time. Currently no defrost ducting. New Pilkington windshield with Precision rubber. New rubber in rear window and door to cab seal. This truck had rust in the normal areas as well as some odd areas. And not in some other normal areas. The inner and outer rockers have been replaced as well as lower kick panels and the bottom of the "A" pillars. Cab corners have been patched. Part of the floors have been patched near the rockers. Nicely done. Cab supports, vent boxes are solid. Right front fender solid, has heavy surface rust behind upper trim. Left front fender has rust in the front and rear. Bed is solid except a couple spots behind the inner fenders and some spots on the top bed rail towards the front. Also a rust hole by the drivers side at below the rear window. All rust spots I have tied to picture. Core support solid below battery, a little rusty on the drivers side. Aftermarket tail gate. New rear bumper and brackets. Grill shell has normal dings and scrapes. Inner has a broken slat. Front chrome bumper, fair. all lights work as they should, brakes work as they should. New battery also. This truck was built as a driver. It has been driven everyday since Nov. 2016 with no problems. I believe the carb is too fat especially at this elevation. Solid truck, no rattles. All new parts and work has been done in the last year. I have tried to describe this truck as best as possible so there are no surprises. $500.00 PayPal deposit due upon end of auction.
