1951 Chevy half ton pickup. Real patina, we knocked out the big dents and sprayed flat clear on the exterior. Floors (from the front to where the seat starts), toe kicks and side metal on the cowl have been replaced. Fenders had a little rust in them and they were repaired. Doors are off of a 50 Chevy pickup and were the same color as the rest of the truck. Doors did not have any rust. Sub-framed a 93 Chevy S-10 in the front. Front suspension is new: rotors, calipers, brakes, shocks, stabilizer links, brake hoses, 2" dropped spindles and 1" drop springs. Rear suspension is a 1985 Chevy Caprice rear end with the 4 links and coil springs. New rear shocks, brakes and wheel cylinders. Chevy 305 motor runs good, miles unknown. 700R4 transmission is rebuilt and has 100 miles on it. New exhaust, trans cooler, aluminum radiator, tires and 600cfm carb from Summit. New polished aluminum dual plane intake manifold. All the glass is new and the windshield is v-butted. New wiring and Dolphin gauges. Custom made seat on the original frame, headliner has a stitched pinstripe pattern. Front bumper is from a 54 Buick, narrowed to fit. Taillights are from a 49 Chevy car. Tilt steering wheel with a 15" 40 Ford steering wheel. Vintage Air heat and air conditioning. Bed floor is vintage barn wood. Louvered hood. Moved the gas tank to below the bed floor and ran the fill tube through the right rear fender. Altman bear claw door latches. Just had pin striping done on the dash, door jams and fire wall. Truck sits nice and low, runs and drives great.
