Up here is my 1947 chevy dump truck. thriftmaster) it has the stovebolt inline six. with 58k on it. i beleive it was rebuilt at one time due to showing blue gasket material. all of the gauges work exept for the gas gauge. the wipers work but very slowly. believe the heater would also work once hooked up again. most the lights work. the pto driven dump box works exellent. there is new wood on the frame of the dump box. it is very solid. it runs exellent drives great for a 1947. stops really nice. shifts pretty good. all glass is good no chips or cracks. the cab corners do have some rust through. also a aouple parts in the floor pan. there are clear pics. All in all the truck is unique. and still performs as it did in 1947. it would be worth a complete restore or throw some clear coat on it keep the patina and use it.
