This is a 1966 Chevy K-10 stepside 4x4. It's an original Chevy stepside not one that's been cut down to create a 4x4 chassis. This is a frame off restoration that significant money was spent to restore it the right way. The cab was completely rebuilt back to factory condition, frame was stripped and checked for x dimension and straightness before being refinished in satin hot rod black. The rear end is the Chevy 12 bolt completely rebuilt with 4:11 gears and posi. The front axel is the original close knuckle front end, completely rebuilt with 4:11 gears. Transmission is a 700R4 custom mated to the original Rockwell transfercase. engine is a Chevy 400 CUI built by Golen Engine with an RV cam and shorty jet coated headers, holly 650 with electric choke, aluminum radiator. Truck runs extremely smooth with plenty of torque, great for daily driving. Truck is outfitted with power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. The fuel tank was removed from the cab and placed under the bed and I added a level IV receiver hitch custom made to fit the frame and powder coated in hr satin black. The entire bed was replaced with new sheetmetal with metal stepside fenders, not fiberglass. Complete with oak wood bed kit. The body, bed and front end pieces have been completely blocked and are ready for paint. Before restoration, I drove the truck for 2 years. I have photos from before the restoration and throughout the process. I have file documentation of funds spent to date, with everything itemized. I welcome any questions you may have. This truck is SUPER clean and done the right way. I have over 20 years experience restoring cars and if your looking for a quality product with no BS and documentation to back up what work was completed, then please feel free to contact me. I'm selling it because life, kids and work now occupy my time however I would love to see the truck finished by another "Car Person" who appreciates quality work. Serious inquires only please.
