The exterior of this could use a bit of a polishing but overall. she presents well. There is a hint of rust at the bottom of the front fenders where they meet the rockers. but it’s in the early stages and could easily be refinished (please see the photos). The interior is in good condition throughout and new seat covers are included but not installed. Factory options included an AM Radio. seatbelts. and spare tire. Featuring a freshly rebuilt. 164 Turbo-Air 6 cylinder. this engine produces 110 horsepower and 160 pounds of torque. The boxer 6 cylinder is backed by a Saginaw 4 Speed transmission and features rear wheel drive. This engine was recently rebuilt at The Vair Shop in Frankfurt. where Larry Claypool expertly dialed in the engine and drivetrain. Additional service also includes a new dual exhaust. new brakes & lines. and tires. Driving this Corvair is an absolute blast! The car starts right up and shifts through all four gears with ease. We do recommend inspecting the car before bidding so you have a good feel for the actual condition of the car.
