Description of 1968 Chevrolet Impala

Up for sale is my 68 Impala convertible. I have been the owner of this car since February 1998. Before that the car was in the hands of my neighbor the original owner since new. So that is not the best part. The car has 31. 32 miles. When i purchased the car it only had around 20. 00 miles. and it was an older woman believe it or not! My plans for the car was to restore it. but unfortunately other things took priority. and it never got done. the car is a numbers matching car. nothing has ever been removed or changed. all servicing has been done since new. I recently had the radiator recoured. any thing that the car needed mantance wise it got. and it drives like few cars it's age. the car has minor rust in spots. trunk has some rust thou. the car has been garage kept most of its life. The paint is cracked and needs to be striped. The original owner decided to have the car painted around 1990. its not in good shape. The top was also replaced at that time. But it to is tattered and is in bad shape (that is why I did not bother taking photos). seats and interior are fair. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the time. Skill & the space to bring this car back to its former glory. after going through 3 surgeries in the last 6 months. I know it's time for me to pass it to someone that can finish the job. Since it wont be me! This is a base 307 Powerglide car. power brakes & steering. factory am/fm radio. It has no body work. never been hit or neglected or abused. The low miles & 2 owner history of this car makes it a true rarity. the car also comes with some new trim parts(door handles. fender emblems) & shop manuals. Good luck bidding.
