1980 Chevy K20 4x4 for sale. Swapped over to a 12V Cummins Turbo Diesel. The swap was done by a previous owner but it seems to be done very well. Trans is a 727 3 speed and NP205 transfer case. Pretty much a bullet proof combination! Truck has 4.10 gears so it's a torque monster! Has brand NEW Firestone Transforce AT 265/75/16 tires! It's not a highway cruiser but runs down the road at 60mph without any problems. If you are looking around for a cummins swap, the hard parts have all been done on this one! Just needs a few minor things. The intake heater and electric fans need to be wired up but it starts right up even in the cold and doesn't run hot at all. Also needs the tilt part of the steering wheel fixed. It steers fine but the column moves up and down a bit. The speedometer works and the heat works great too which is rare for diesel conversions. Truck was originally an AC truck but the compressor isn't there anymore. Has aux oil pressure gauge, volt meter, and water temp gauges. The body itself is in very good condition for the year and is far above average. It was mostly stored indoors but appears to have had an older restoration. The frame is very solid and mostly black in places with only minor surface rust- no scale. The body has paint chips, etc from gravel roads but is relatively rust free. There are some minor bubbles by the rear wheel wheels and on the cab corners but no holes anywhere. The paint still mostly shines great. The door bottoms, rockers, inner fenders, and floors are all very solid! The rubber mat is in excellent condition as is the headliner. All glass is in good shape, driver's window off the track a little but goes up and down. The seat is torn under the cover but could be redone pretty easily. Tailgate is in good shape and goes up and down as it should. Inside the bed is amazing for the year of the truck! You can tell it wasn't beat up or abused. Only selling because I have too many toys right now and need to thin the herd a little. If you want to see any other pics, just let me know what you'd like to see. This thing is ready to go to a new owner and be turned into the true classic that it is! $200 paypal deposit due within 48 hours. Full payment due in cash in person within 7 days unless other arrangements are made prior to the end of the auction. I'm pretty easy to work with so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
