YAHOO if you were kicking yourself for not having a faster finger . here's your chance !!! a well built & PROVEN Pro touring 62 Bel Air. Approximately 15K on build including 3 trips to Vegas for the SEMA show. This is your chance to own this beauty for LOW $20K price range. before I take it to the next ($ 35K ) level of finish. FINISH IT YOUR WAY. Not mine. The 2000 Camaro LS1 (about 360 Horse with tune & headers) & 4L60E trans is a perfect setup for this car delivering 17 to 21 MPG. Rear end is rebuilt with all new bearings. seals. amp; ring & pinion with 3:42 ratio. New u-joints. slip joint & heavy duty carrier bearing. It has a big Champion aluminum radiator & electric fans. Cold air intake behind the grill. Speartech wiring harness. Aluminum headers dump into 2” pipe with Jegs Turbo mufflers. Front shocks are QA1- 12 point adjustable. Has a 1 ¼ sway bar in front & ¾ on the rear for a ride that feels more like a sports car than a full size 2 door. All new suspension. ball joints. tie rods. bushings. etc. New dropped springs with 2” Mcgaugheys dropped spindles. THE STANCE speaks for itself. 4 wheel disc brakes … rears are from Right Stuff for 55- 64 conversion. fronts are late 70-mid 80 mid size GM with a 72 corvette dual reservoir for 4 wheel discs. 605 power steering box for mid 70- late 90 GM. Foose 17” wheels & nearly new tires. New full length floors welded in & seam sealed. Cable X box allows the use of the stock speedometer. Rick’s stainless steel fuel tank with in tank pump BUT separate fuel sending unit for gas gauge. Super SONY sound system with amp. subs etc. NOS Fawn (the original color) complete interior from Eckler’s Late . Great Chevy. All new rubber & felt . Dynamat in floors . doors. headliner & behind rear seat. EVERYTHING works except turn signal cancel. Car will pass all states inspection & can be trusted on any length trip. Body is original Honduras maroon with red oxide primer. MINIMAL body work & adjustments needed for paint prep. Bumpers fair driver quality. aluminum trim is good to fair with some straightening needed on side trim. WHERE WERE YOU IN 1962 ??? More pix by e mail upon request. Bruce Austin 806 787 4742 |
