Here is a 1965 C10 Custom. big back window. short wheel base. factory automatic. nbsp;and it is a fleetside truck. The title is free and clear. This truck has been sitting for many years. It was pulled to the side and parked because of an ignition issue. It will need to be restored. This C10 Custom has a high performance 350 engine. Accell Super Coil. dual point racing distributor. nbsp;headers. dual exhaust system. and a turbo 400 automatic transmission. I wanted to start it up to make sure it would still a run. I got tired of trying to adjust the racing ignition system and wrestling with the old Holley carb. I was alone during this process. After almost getting frustrated I pulled the distributor and replaced it with the HEI system from my 454 engine. She fired right up. The engine still runs and she did not smoke up the garage. That Holley carb may need replacing or at least a Holley expert to get it right. I believe with some tuning up and point replacement you will be very happy with this drivetrain. I will remove my HEI distributor once you hear it run and reinstall the racing dual point distributor inside the engine if you would like for me to do so. I think it probably just needs new dual points to be back up to par. but I was short on time today. I couldn't thoroughly check it out. I believe the Super Coil is the culprit for the problems. There are no brakes on the C10. Radiator. engine. transmission. driveshaft. and rearend are all presently hooked up. Back in the day a sunroof was added to the roof. I have cut the roof off of another C10 to put it back stock. There is an indentation in the front. but it can be used to make the repair. The rockers. floors. bottom of the doors. and lower rear of the fenders all need replacement panels. The cab corners are pretty decent shape. They need very minor attention. The bed wood strips and wood will need replacing. There was a piece of plywood serving as a bed floor. Mother nature defeated it. The tailgate is in very good shape. The frame is good and straight. The wheels could be polished. You would need new center caps. All of the glass is good. Please see the photos.
