This is a recreation of the famous Black Widow. Chevy built around 400 Chevys that were factory race cars. They were built on the 150 body and had a high horse power V8 with a 4 speed trans and big brakes. The one we have has is new from front to back with the right look and feel. but has the upgrades we all want with Power Steering. Power Disc Brakes. and A/C. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior. interior. and heartbeat of the Chevy. but first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned. operated. and own our entire inventory. no consignments. and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So. that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. It was all pulled off the frame and taken down to bare metal. The needed repairs and it was fitted before the paint was applied. Everything is covered in the two tone Black and White Paint that has had hours spent on puffing and polishing to a deep rich shine. All the jams and under the hood and trunk look good. It had new stainless and chrome installed. All the glass looks like new as well as all the seals and weather stripping. The final exterior touch is the upgraded 17” Wheels. Next. we will take a look at the interior of the ’57. On the inside it’s done in the stock 150 pattern. It looks to have the correct seats and trim. When you look at the dash it all has been upgraded with VHS gauges that are white faced with red illumination. They also added an aftermarket retro sound radio and an LED clock. The AC vents are under the dash to keep from cutting it. Also you will see it comes with Tilt Column and an aftermarket steering wheel. Finally. we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s powered by a 350 small block that’s dressed with an aluminum intake as well as chrome valve covers and breather. It has coated headers with flows. The pulley and alternator have also been changed to chrome. It has a polished AC compressor as well as an Aluminum Radiator. The Trans is a Muncie 4 Speed that’s mated to a 10 Bolt Rear End. The steering has been upgraded to a CPD Gear that is power and it also has Power Disc Brakes. When you look under this ride it all looks new and is well done.
