This is a numbers matching 67 Chevelle SS that was made in California. It was purchased by a car restorer in Oregon and was given a frame-off restoration that was completed in early 2001. I have photos documenting the frame-off restoration and have communicated with the gentleman who restored the car. It was sold at auction at Hot August Nights in Reno, Nevada in 2001. The purchaser shipped the car to Louisiana where it has remained since. It has been maintained very well and has been driven @ 6700 miles since the restoration. There are a few small surface rust spots around the trunk seal and a few small bubbles in the quarters. I have photos of most of the imperfections. This car has original sheet metal, original drive line. The original 2:73 gears were changed to 3:55 by the restorer and he added a 2000 RPM Stall Converter. The only custom features are the interior which has been tastefully done in gray and the addition of a vintage air conditioning system. It has a Sean Murphy quadrajet and a new alternator. If you have any specific questions please contact me and I will be more than happy to answer them. The car runs great and is very smooth on the highway. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if the car is sold locally.
