I have owned this beautiful pickup for about the last 10 years and I am just the 2nd registered owner. When I bought it there were just 38,000 miles on it. Here is why it has such low miles: In 1976 a farmer named CC Wooten in Carmi, IL (have title) retired from farming. He had never bought a vehicle new and so decided he would buy his first NEW truck, this 1976 Chevy we have. A few short years later the farmer passed away. His widow did not want to sell his truck he loved so much, so she kept it in the garage. Every year she would have the local Chevrolet dealer pick the truck up, service it and return it to the garage. She passed away in 2007 and her nephew inherited it. The nephew had no interest in the 'old truck' and decided to sell it. I answered the ad and from a single picture I told him I would take it. I flew from Tennessee to Springfield, IL and drove it home. We used it for odds & ends but it has always been stored inside and out of the weather. We are moving and will not have room for it anymore. So we would like to find a good home for it. The A/C works but it must have a slow leak. I charged it up a couple years ago when it got too low to work and it is low again. Runs great and has always started right up in any weather. The old CB in there is the one the farmer put in. Notice that it is prior to the 40ch CBs and has just the original 23 channels available then. The originalAM radio works well. The only part of the paint that is not originalis the inside of the bed. The rest appears to be all original. The interior was so nice that I covered it and it has remained covered since. The gauge glass is still clear, no cracks in the dash or steering wheel. You can look at the pedals and see they are original with little wear. The spare in the bed is right where it was when I bought it and I have never removed it. It's an originalbias ply tire still holding air. Please review the video and pictures and bid with confidence. I have been on Ebay for almost 20yrs with perfect feedback, so bid with confidence. Remember that as nice as this truck is, it is still 40 years old and will have the appropriate wear.
