Description of 1964 Chevrolet Impala Supper Sport (SS) |
Beautiful AND Original. Call Mark at 610-247-8243 for Questions or to make appointment to see the car. This car is VERY NICE! 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS For SaleLocated in Exton, PA This car is mostly original and is not restored. The car was purchased on Feb. 26, 2002 from an owner in Spokane, WA. It is a true, essentially rust free western car which originated from Montana. It was driven only 81,000 miles prior to the 2002 purchase. The previous owner accumulated approximately 20,000 miles in 10 years. It is about 90% original from when it was brand new in 1964. Other than new paint and new carpet, which were applied 10 years ago, it has had nothing but normal maintenance items replaced and or repaired. This Impala SS has the rare black / black exterior / interior color combination. It is factory equipped with the legendary 209 cubic inch, high performance 425hp V8 engine with dual Carter 4-barrel carbs, a 4 speed manual transmission, a 4.11 posi-traction rear, a high performance camshaft, 11.0/1 compression ratio heads/pistons, dual ignition system, aluminum intake manifold and high performance cast iron exhaust manifold. It is also equipped with bucket seats, a center console, a floor mounted shifter, factory dash mounted tach, clock, padded dash, tinted windshield, and factory seat belts. All of the components except the tires, hoses, hose clamps, battery, belts and plug wires were factory original at the time of the 2002 purchase. All the numbers and codes match. All electrical components work besides the clock.
