Description of 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS numberd matching motor |
1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport 2 door coupe, original numbers matching 300 hp 327 ci, early Muncie M21 4 speed car. All original and complete, last tagged and driven in 2011. Motor runs not drivable, brakes need a little work. Transmission good with Hurst shifter, needs new clutch and pressure plate. Rear axle good condition. Rat rod condition now, I call it the rat killer. Selling it as a restoration project. Or with a little moneyin the drive line, drive it and gocruising. Glass is all in good shape no cracks. Windows roll up and down, doors open and shut very well. New locks on doors and trunk. Lights wipers, heater motor works. Car needs lower rear quarters, trunk pan, upper trunk area good shape, inner fender wells mostly good. Also needsbottomfloor pans, have little hole in each one, rest of floor and front of car in good rust free condition. Interior needs replaced but some what useable. I think the pictures tell the story, still a very cool car, has seen better days. Reminds me of Bill"grumpy" Jenkins old drag car.Be glad to answer any questions for actual bidders.
