This is a rare classic body style Corvette that has only had two owners since new . The first owner purchased it back on October 1, 1977 for the total price of $11,262.00 new . It was sold here locally on L.I and has remained here since . The first owner only kept it for 3 years and just over 1200 miles till the only other owner purchased it and has been in his possession for over 35 years till 201, when he retired and I purchased the car .The car has been well preserved with a ton of original paperwork including the originalbill of sal, original dealer invoic, even the original keys with selling dealer key chai, all original book, manuals, last title back in 1980 from second owner, a lot of original paperworksince new . It is also only 1/6148 L-82's offered that year where the productionnumbers were well over 46000 cars . It is a very original car . The body has survived well still having most of it's original pain, garaged for most of it's life the patina is not muc, I believe the fenders have some paint work where the emblems ( cross flags replacedthe Stingray nameplate that year ) would have been . The body alignmentis very nic, all gaps verygoo, perfect frame and birdcag, nothing repaire, painted over or covered up . The interior is very origina, as all corvettes for the first and only year came in leather it has held up well . I did have the drivers seat bottom freshened up when I first purchased i, original carpet, das, interiorpanels show well. the door panelsare original with the common door arm rest repair circa 80's . The visors have been removed ad the second owner was 6'6" and view was blocke, have them removed but I do have them . The radiowas also replace, nothing cu, shaft style circa late 80', I have since found an original but not the original AM-FM correct for 1977-1978 radio from another corvette . Also when I purchased the car the car had chrome dual sport style mirrorsthat more resembled a ford mustan, I removed both and was only able to replace drivers sidewith correct mirro, have a New in Box correct passengers side mirror for the car .The car runs and drives very wel, motor is all stock and original with NOTHING touched or modifie, still has the A.I.R. pump with bel, original catalyticconverte, and what I see as original stock exhaustmufflers . The car will need a new compressor as the original one started binding up and I removed he belt . The headlamps operate wel, no surprises her, justand honest clean Super well documented Survivor Corvette .The color is called Corvette light blue Code 26 . The interior is called smoked gray leather . I have includeda copy of the original dealer invoice for options but will listthem : A31 power windows : B32 key colored floor mats : C49 Electro-Clear rear defogger : C60 Four Season air condition: K30 cruise control : L82 350 4 BBL 210HP : M40 TH auto transmission ( this is an option for the L-82 cars @ $146.00 ) :NA2 standard emission system :N37 tilt-telescopic wheel :QRZ WL tires :UA1 HD battery :UM2 Stereo tape AM/FM :YJ8 aluminum wheels :ZX2 convenience group . Also the tilt lever which also has the cruise control button( first year for the cruise control ) is not in column as it was loose and had it temp removed but do have it . All the gauges are workin, all power options workin, hor, turn signal, wiper, all light, interio, hood lamp, reverse lamp, tail lamp, headlamps, all interior night illumination works . I would not be afraid to drive car back . This is an all numbers matching original car . I can be reached @ 516-467-689, the reserve is less then the original selling price of $11.262.00 which is unusualwith most collector car, especiallycorvettes . This is for a purestbuye, daily driver type of buyer that wants to preserve the originalityof the ca, I hope to find that person here . quick few notes . the wheels are the original first year YJ8 aluminumwheels to the ca, the steering wheel horn button i the original brushed aluminum one year onlyand original correct to theca, I have the original t top bags and mats from the ca, there are tow speakers circa 80's in the rear not mounted just laying back there so there is nothing cut in the ca, not the usual kick panel, or drilled into rear deck . I have also includedpictures with the chrome mirrors is that were on the car in one or two photos .
