Up for sale…1986 Chevy Silverado. This truck is loaded with all options. Dual tanks (works), all instrumentation including clock (works). PW, PDL. Cruise control, tilt wheel, sliding rear window (factory according to glove box sticker), dual exhaust, tinted windows.New master cylinder just last year, with front and rear pads/shoes. A/C blows cold, new condenser and dryer installed before service. This truck as you can see is un-molested, although I did go with a serpentine belt system from a newer model truck (personal preference), it still retains the factory look. I spent much of 2015 restoring this truck, and I love it, but other priorities must be put first. About the engine, what I’m about to tell is all personal preference, I love the un-molested factory look, BUT, I also like power, so when I built the engine, I went with new/rebuilt vortec heads, vortec aluminum intake (new),quadrajet carb (new/rebuilt…have receipt) and also a 268 duration competition cam ..again, I’m not building a race truck, but MY personal preference, I love the lope and rough idle sound of this cam, so that’s what I went with. It sounds awesome and runs great, also rebuilt trans 700R4 past two years (receipt) done by PTC trans in Muscle Shoals, Al....new paint end 2015, Indigo Blue/gray bottom, BC/CC, sanded and buffed to mirror finish after paint. All new shocks installed 2015 as well. Spray in bedliner (Herculiner) All new Silverado chrome after paint, super straight. All new weathersrip/window felt after paint, both doors have new window motors, due to new weatherstrip made old motors sloooow, so replaced with new..new rear bumper after paint, new dash cap (matches great, fits tight) new instrument panel aluminum (perfect fits great).Absolutely positively no rust, body very straight beforepaint.new stereo installed (Pioneer) with blue tooth hands free controls, with new amp and speakers (6x9) fitted behind seat where original speakers were, modified brackets installed (again to look correct)…very nice sound. carpet and seat great shape (see pics). I did not cut corners on this truck, I’m very particular about my stuff, I drive this truck every day. It gets a lot of attention, needs nothing…oh, I’ve never had in the mud, but have verified that the 4WD works as it should.I did put 2inch blocks in not long ago, I think it looks better, they can easily be removed if you don't like. pics don't show them, but new taillight lens were installed. Tires are only fair, I would think within this year, new tires should be bought...I drive her every day.... Any questions or concerns, contact Greg @ 901-827-9277
