Once in a lifetime storage unit find from original owner!! The car runs and drives nicely, but could use some TLC. After removal from storage, the gas tank was drained and cleaned and car got new tires (old set was from 1990), rebuilt carb and new fuel lines. The good: highly original car with great colors and documentation including original dealer paperwork showing all options including parchment deluxe interior with headrest seats, powerglide auto, heavy duty suspension, power steering, tilt wheel, deluxe seat belts, front and rear bumper guards, rally sport equipment, special interior trim, console with gauges, power top, power windows, rear antenna, walnut steering wheel, AM radio, dual exhaust, and wire wheel covers. The exterior body work was done well and the body lines are arrow straight with great panel gaps all around. The power windows work great, as does the power top and headlight doors. The total price of the car when new was $4911.76. The not as good: Car began life in Canada so it has had rust repairs including new quarters, floor patch, and a very creative trunk patch. Drop in the trunk mat and you cannot see it, and it does not have any active rust. The bodywork has held up great - there is no rust visible or any bubbling, but paint has shrunk so it shows sanding lines on hood and trunk lid when in the right light. Paint is very shiny and very good for daily driver, but would need repainted for show quality. The tachometer is currently not working, nor does the radio. The original door panels have slight cracking near the armrests and the passenger seat has a small burn-type discoloration. All four harmonic balancers are missing. The block is from a 1967 Impala, but nearly all other components under the hood are original to the car.
