Relisting due to a bidder cancelling his bid after meeting the reserve....Please do not bid if you are not a serious buyer. 1972 Chevrolet Townsman Wagon with 84k miles. Very presentable driver quality wagon. Exterior shows well however does have its blemishes, dings etc. Blue/black combo turns heads for sure. Interior is in very good condition as follows : head liner very good condition with no visible tears or rips. Seats in excellent condition with no visible tears or rips. Seat belts excellent condition. Carpet in very good condition and 4 new floor mats are included as well. The radio does not work at this time however all parts seem to be intact. Rear bed area in very good condition and still includes spare tire. Rear seat folds down nicely. The rear side windows do not appear to leak which is a common problem with these cars. 350 engine with Rochester carburetor runs well however in cold weather starts hard due to choke being inoperative. Runs and starts great when warm. Car runs, drives and stops with no major issues. The engine does not appear to leak nor does the transmission. The clamshell rear works including tailgate and window. The tires and wheels are in excellent condition. The undercarriage is in good condition including brake lines, frame and gas lines. This is not a 3rd seat wagon. These wagons are becoming rare and desirable as most have been destroyed in demolition derbys or are so overpriced the average person can not afford one. Selling this car at a very reasonable price considering people will pay 2-3k for clean roller wagons. I hate to sell this wagon but I have too many cars and projects at the moment so this one has to go. The reserve price is set lower than what I have invested. Please know that this is a 45 year old car and is not perfect however very driveable and presentable. It will turn heads and makes a great camping/family machine. The new owner will enjoy it I am sure. Please do not bid if you do not have the funds as that has happened to me in the past. Deposit is $500 and is NOT refundable. I can assist with coordination of shipping however the buyer is 100% responsible for all shipping costs. Feel free to contact me through eBay/email with any questions or any further pictures you may want. Thanks for looking. On Apr-10-17 at 08:39:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Update.. to answer a few inquiries. If the wheels do not interest the buyer/bidder I can mount the tires which are in excellent condition on factory GM steel wheels and also provide a stock 1976 Impala hubcap. On Apr-12-17 at 07:28:19 PDT, seller added the following information:Lots of questions so I will try and cover them here. Added pictures as well. This is an original A/C car however it is not functioning at the moment. All the components are there except the A/C belt. The compressor clutch spins nicely. It does run, drive and stop fine. Runs and starts much better now that the weather has warmed. I recently drove it 14 miles with no issues and no major leaking etc after parked. I have been asked about daily driving or if it would make it on a very long road trip like several states away. I have no way of knowing this. But I do not see why not as there are no major mechanical issues at this time. It is 45 years old and not a trailer queen or complete resto that costs over 10k. For Buy it Now price I could tune up car(does not seem to need this) but for piece of mind and change the oil. Thanks. Please read entire ad before asking "are the tires good?"
