Description of 1987 Chevrolet Corvette |
Being relisted due to a buyer who hit the buy it now and did not contact me for 9 days? This car belonged to a long time friend of mine who passed away almost a year ago now. He purchased this car back in 1989 as it was 2 years old then and had always babied the car. He owned 5 Corvettes and drove this one the most. all other vettes have already sold. This car here has sat for 2 years and I put in a new battery and alternator and runs great. It has some small issues. top is in great shape. but the back plastic window is faded and cracked. you can just have a new piece of plastic put in. The car is in need of tires. the tread is very Low. The rims alone were over $4000 and are Epsilon wheels. look them up they sell for $1500 to $2000 alone used with no tires and give this car a great look. They have been on the car since 1990. It will need a few bulbs for the dash lights. most work. The interior i would would just detail and fix the drivers side upper door panel molding. It is a great car for the money. the exhaust is about 5 years old and is stock. The car was never beaten. just driven on nice days and was garaged till 2012 when it was then parked under a car port. Body and paint are very nice. Has a small crack in windshield but it will pass Pa inspection as it's a small crack. Has a Lecarra steering wheel. He was a big fan of Epsilon wheels and Lecarra steering wheels. he had them on 3 of his Vettes. The top I have to pull the cable to release the top to put up and down. I have not checked the fuse to see if it is just the fuse. Easy fix. |
