1950 chevy truck- Barn Find

1950 Chevy 4100 pickup truck.

With 10' hydraulic flat bed dump(PTO driven)
6cyl engine,manual transmission

The opening bidis my reserve so bid to win....... I have not washed or cleaned this truck in any way... how you see it is how I found it in the barn........ the pictures do not do it justice!!!!!!! It will clean up verynicely. I justdidn't do it cause I did not want to hide anything. If I had the funds I would befixing this up myself !!!!!!!!!
This truck was last licensed in 2003 and I was told that it was driven into the barn and parked, till I rescued it. Engine oil is clean. Oil in the oil bath breather looks clean as new, Engine does turn over but doesn't fire....... haven't messed with the points, coil, plugs etc...... but the engine does turn over when hooked to a 6volt charger(battery is of course old and needs replaced), the turn signals did turn on, as did the lights......... so new battery,clean the points, clean the fuel system,change the plugs, wires, coiland this thing should run, but that is not a guarantee just an educatedguess.
All the tires were holding air until I loaded it on the trailer and the tube in the driver front blew out. The spare tire is notworth putting on the truck... but the wheel is good.
As you can see from the pics this thing has no rust through and no major dents..... it is a beautiful survivor! A great starting point for anyone looking tobuild an old truck. This is the narrow wheel base so it fits between the fenders on a 83'' trailer (tight but it fits..... even the dual's they rub but they do fit) so if your looking to do a chopped and dropped wicked dually but not bestupid wide like a 2ton... then this is the truck for you. This is actuallynarrower than my 1990's dodge dually. Due to its narrowness and shorter wheel base it can be hauled on a 14' or longer, 83'' (between the fenders) or widertrailer... such as a car hauler or equipment trailer.
