For sale here I have my mostly original 1949 Chevrolet 3600 deluxe 5 window pickup truck project. The truck has a clear and current Ks title that matches the serial number plate. The 216 engine turns over easily although it hasn't ran in at least the last 20 years. The truck rolls and steers good for transport. The corner glass and rear glass are in nice shape. The rest of the glass is cracked or weathered. It has the deluxe stainless inside and out on the doors along with the windshield trim. The grill and latch panel were swapped onto it from another truck and is just loosely bolted in. The truck has the typical rust that these AD trucks get in the lower cowl, kick panels, rockers, cab corners, running boards and a small amount in the floor. There's also rust in other panels on the truck. The bed sides are fairly straight and rust free. The front bed panel and tailgate have rust and dents. All of the fenders have dents or damage from use. The doors have some rust in the bottoms and the hood has rust inside by the hinges. The drivers side front fender was hit pretty hard and I'm including a fairly nice original yellow fender to replace it. There's also a rough extra front clip that came with the truck that I will include if the buyer wants it. There's 3 correct but rough 3600 hubcaps and spare front marker lenses and bezels included as well. The truck is missing very little mainly the air cleaner, keys, and headlight bezels. The ps door appears to be locked and the previous owner lost the keys in a house fire so that will need some work to get it to open. The drivers side door only likes to open from the inside. This is a project truck that would make a good original style driver or patina shop truck. The truck could be restored but it would take some metal work to get that done. Go to 49chevy5window.shutterfly.com for 230 pictures of the truck and parts that are included. This truck is selling with no reserve and all buyers are welcome. There's a $500 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours of auctions close with full payment in 7 days. Thanks and good luck bidding.
